Cruddy start to the month. Aria was under the weather for a week.
But after a few hours at the Children's Hospital we had a diagnosis of bladder infection.
Even though she didn't like the medicine, she felt better almost immediately.
We got some zucchini from Nana's garden! LOTS of zucchini!
Zucchini pizzas, zucchini crisp (known in our house as deceitful crisp),
zucchini fries, zucchini in sautes, sauces and the freezer.
Every year our ward has a cornbust and a chili cook-off.
Aaron entered two: a green chili and a "mystery pot chili."
Four friends each gave a random ingredient that he had to include:
peaches, broccoli, oranges, and chocolate.
My parents came for a visit. They talked about wanting to see the autumn colors.
Hate to break it to you, Mom and Dad, but snow is an autumn color for us.
It just usually doesn't show up on the 8th of September!
Silly Grandpa made a little snowman on the hood of the van.
Went to the Edmonton temple. The 45th new temple for my parents.
Spent the weekend out at Nana's beautiful house.
Thankfully no swimming in the pond this time, but we did get to use the indoor hot tub!
On the island there is a garden. Or there was before the snow came.
Nana covered all the squash so at least it survived. More zucchini for us!
We took a walk down to Pigeon Lake.

Aria rode in the wagon, helped pull the wagon,
or ignored the wagon entirely to splash in the puddles.
On our way back from Mulhurt we had to make a brief stop
in Rimbey to see Oma. She is in our prayers as she goes through chemotherapy.
Another new jersey for Aaron. After starting the season in yellow and green with the A's,
he played half the season with the Raiders. (He'll be in the black and silver next year.)
All the poor weather over the summer meant Aaron didn't play his last game until September 25th!
Another new game at the Sebastians! For Aaron's 30th birthday we had a boardgame party.
Sunset in downtown Calgary
