HAPPY BIRTHDAY ARIA!
Happy birthday to my sweet baby girl! What an exciting year it has been. From her first breath to her first words and nearly her first steps. Aria is a happy girl who loves to explore the world around her. She is always on the move and enjoys being around people. She is close to walking - she can balance on her own for increasingly longer periods, but needs a bit more confidence before taking any steps. She babbles constantly, and makes us laugh with her stories and sounds.
She is the size of a two-year old, weighing 26 pounds and standing at over 30 inches tall. She has six teeth (two on top, four on bottom) and loves eating everything with them. Her favorites are cheese, crackers (goldfish or graham), and whatever Mom is eating. I pray that she is always this eager and willing to eat whatever is placed in front of her.
I am looking forward to this next year of adventures and discoveries - walking to running, lots of words, growing taller, playing games, and more vacations. There are lots of pictures I need to go through from our trip to Oregon last week for Emily's wedding (including pictures of Aria's birthday cake), where Aaron and Aria finally got to meet the rest of my siblings! But those will have to wait until after our trip to Rimbey this weekend for a Rondeel family reunion (Aaron's mother's side of the family). Makes for a very busy summer, but we are happy to see so much family.
