Driving north

After a week of wedded bliss, we loaded up the rental car (so we wouldn't have to deal with importing mine just yet) and headed north for Canada. We got to experience heavy rain through the first few hours, fog for the next few, and then as soon as we hit the Canadian border - SNOW! We spent an hour there, getting me legally into the country, and then proceeded slowly across the icy roads. The clouds broke up for a little while through the mountains and we were able to see the beautiful starry sky. Thankfully the roads cleared up a bit too, and we could pick up our speed. It only took us about 18 hours, but we finally made it to Calgary at 2 o'clock in the morning.
