As of about 2:15 PM on Tuesday, December 29, 2009, I became a wife! Wedding went off without a hitch .. except perhaps the weather. As we were leaving for the church, the snow started coming down. And down it came! It made for a beautiful white wedding, but it kept a lot of the guests away.
For us that were there though, we had fun. The ceremony was short and sweet, and then came the sweets! Delicious cupcakes and lots of hot chocolate. While they ate, we asked that people leave notes of advice and congratulations, instead of signing a guestbook. It was so much fun to read the notes when we got back to the house!
The top it all off, as we left the reception, we found out that the road was closed that lead to the honeymoon. So Aaron and I spent the evening at home with the family, playing games and opening our small handful of presents. We had a good time though, and were able to leave for Lincoln City the next day.
