My First Game

Aaron got cheap tickets for a Hitmen game through the radio station he listens to at work. For those who don't know, the Hitmen are part of the WHL (Western Hockey League) - just like the Portland Winterhawks. The tickets were for the 5th game in the final series with the Tri-City Americans. After the Hitmen won the first three games, Aaron was afraid they wouldn't get to five, but luckily they lost game four, and we got to have our game after all.

We had awesome seats - only eight rows back, and just to the left of the home team bench. Made for some good pictures!

Between the first and second periods they had a quick human bowling contest. I got the best run on video! Have a view:

But the best part of the night was watching the Hitmen WIN! A brutal butt-kicking of 4 to 1 against Tri-Cities. And immediately after the game they got the Cup (can't remember what it's called). The Saddledome was packed and loud and awesome. A good way to see Canadian hockey for the first time!
