We had the missionaries over for dinner a few weeks back and decided to make them pizza. Lots of pizza. Three different kinds of pizza! We did our usual garlic sauce with chicken and fresh tomatoes, but we also tried something new -
barbecue chicken pizza! A garlic and onion
bbq sauce,
caramelized red onions,
bbq chicken, and corn! It was a big hit. We've started saving pizza ads just to get more ideas. I'm wanting to try a taco pizza at some point - ground beef, salsa, sour cream, lettuce, tomatoes, and lots of cheese.

The last time we had the missionaries over we introduced them to
lychee, so this time we had to bring something else new to the table. The third pizza was dessert pizza. Sugar cookie base, with a sweetened cream cheese frosting, topped with fruit. Delicious fruit. A pile of strawberries in the middle, surrounded by a ring of kiwi, then alternating mango and
dragonfruit around the outside. The
dragonfruit had a rather mild flavor, and we imagine that it would taste even better when eaten fresh (so we'll look for it when we make a trip to South America or Asia). But it was a fabulous dessert to end the evening with.
