Oh yes, and if you hadn't heard, Aaron landed himself a JOB! HOORAY! After two months of unemployment we are back in business.
On Monday Aaron was putting in a slew of resumes. He asked me how many he had to do - I said something along the lines of however many it takes to get a job. Or, because Aaron likes a specific goal, at least 10. So after about a dozen resumes he suddenly get a phone call from a place called Apple Fitness (one of the places he had just applied to) and they asked him to come in the next morning for an interview. He goes in, all goes well, and they say they'll call him back later that afternoon.
We wait and wait and no call. The next afternoon Aaron calls in again, to ask about the job, but the person he needs to talk to is out. "He'll call back later this afternoon when he comes back into the office."
We wait and wait and no call. Aaron is feeling rather dejected and upset. He figures he'll just focus on the ball this weekend and go back to hunting next week. So it's Thursday and out of the blue we get a phone call from Apple Fitness! He had just been out of the office all the previous day, since they're short handed (hence the need to hire someone). Aaron starts on Monday!
Apple Fitness offers high-end fitness equipment, mainly commercial, but some residential as well. Their biggest clients would be all the local sports teams - Okotoks Dogs, Stampeders, Edmonton Oilers and Eskimos, and Aaron's favorite Calgary Flames. Aaron will be delivering and installing. Nothing glamorous, but it should pay the bills, allow him to finish up the ball season, and still make it to church every week.

Glamorous if he's delivering to and maybe even meeting some of the players!
