Sunday was a heartbreaking day for the Royals. First inning they got a run, while the Cannons got 8. Throughout the next six innings they slowly chipped away and eventually took the lead 10 to 8. Aaron pitched incredibly well, probably his best this season, and he even got a homerun. The Royals played a fantastic game, nothing to be ashamed of at all, but the homeplate umpire was incredibly inconsistent with his calls, and in the end they lost 10 to 12. Aaron was absolutely devastated. There's the rest of the season to go, to make up for half a season worth of rainouts, and of course there is always next year. So now he's more determined than ever.
