the first 50 of many

We've been married for 50 days now! To celebrate, the sky decided to drop some snow in memory of what it did on our wedding day. It's lovely, but it means Aaron had to leave a few minutes earlier this morning and will probably get home a few minutes later tonight. At least his Mom is in town and we've been invited over to dinner at her place tonight.

Yesterday we looked at our first apartment possibility - it's right across the street from where he used to live, and has a very similar feel to that, just significantly smaller since we're looking at a one bedroom. It's newly renovated, with new carpet, tile, and the bathroom and kitchen have been completely redone. It even has a dishwasher! It's a decent place and definitely a possibility, but we've got an appointment to look at more apartments tomorrow - at the place we're really hoping to get into. They've got a number of floorplans, and some one bedroom lofts that we really like. We're really looking forward to going over there and seeing what they have to offer.

Our suggestion is that you try to find something fairly close to Aaron's work. That cuts down on commute time and cost, as long as apartments aren't more expensive in that area.

We're looking at apartments that are in ward boundries. Because we've already started the sealing cancellation and everything with this bishop, it's just MUCH easier to stay there. Besides, the ward is amazing and they love us, so it makes that part of our lives just that much better.

Aaron knows the city well. We are moving closer to work for him, from where we are now, but the area he works in isn't the best to live in. To really cut down on living costs we would have to move outside the city, but that would add to the commute time/cost and again, we'd be outside of the ward.
