Sadly nothing to update about. Aaron thought the job interview went well, but never heard back from the company. It's the worst time of year to look for work. He has continued to job hunt anyway, even with no other calls for interviews.
We are going insane here. We try and make sure we get out every day. There were lots of things to do this last weekend - we went out for our first month anniversary (using a giftcard we got as a wedding present) and then spent all of Saturday at a friend's birthday party where we played games all day. But we continue to come back to the house and wish we were somewhere else. It feels like our lives are on pause, and we can't hit play again.
I'm looking forward to unpacking, and finally settling in. Organizing our apartment the way we want, and having all our own food in the fridge. Looking forward to not having his father tell us what to do every day (or "strongly suggest" as he'd say). And finally having the place to ourselves.
